Rick Cauthen is founding Principal of the C Group, a multifaceted consulting and real estate firm specializing in site/facility location, economic development and real estate services to organizations worldwide.
With over 23 years experience in site/facility location and economic development, Mr. Cauthen has assisted many companies with their location needs. He has conducted site location projects in the US and Europe and is currently working with companies interested in China.
Recent clients include Nippon Carbide, Proctor & Gamble, Ford Motor Credit, Toyoda Koki and Kotobuki Industries.
A select list of economic development clients includes Abbeville County, SC; Transylvania County, NC; the State of Arkansas; Santee Cooper (a SC utility company); the University of Alabama; and the City of Birmingham.
Mr. Cauthen’s career assignments include Principal for Fluor Corporation Global Location Strategies; International Business Development Manager for the SC Department of Commerce; and Vice President for Economic Development for Greenville County, SC.
Rick is a registered Professional Engineer with an MBA and a BS in Civil Engineering, both from Clemson University. |
