Rob Cornwell is founding Principal of the C Group, a multifaceted consulting and real estate firm specializing in site/facility location, economic development and real estate services to organizations worldwide.
With over 13 years experience in site/facility location and economic development, Mr. Cornwell’s economic development experience ranges from rural economic development programs to large regional programs representing the private and public sectors.
Recent clients include Black & Decker, Honda Corporation, Federal Mogul, Caterpillar and Pirelli.
Mr. Cornwell’s career includes assignments as Marketing Director of York County, SC and Executive Director of Clarendon County, SC Economic Development. In Clarendon County, he managed the development of a 400-acre industrial park and a 48,000 sf spec building. His experience also includes leading a regional economic development initiative for SCANA Corporation (a SC Electric Utility), and serving as Manager for Site Location/Business Development for Beers/Skanska Corporation.
Mr. Cornwell is a Certified Economic Developer (CED). He received his BS in Business Administration from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC.
